It was a busy start to the month for the Chanute Police Department with three arrests in the first three days of July.
On the 1st, Chanute officers started an investigation into shots fired in the 1500 block of West Main Street. On the 2nd, officers arrested 21-year-old David Storm for criminal trespassing and felony interference with law enforcement.
Also on the 2nd, officers responded to the 500 block of West Main Street for possible criminal damage. Officers arrested 37-year-old Jamie Lock for felony interference with law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
On the 3rd, officers started an investigation into an aggravated burglary in the 1000 block of North Santa Fe Avenue. Officers arrested 67-year-old Patrick Phillips for aggravated burglary.
