Residents Speak to Commissioners on James School Road Curve

Residents from the area around James School Road and South Buckeye speak to the Montgomery County Commission. At the end of June, the County announced in a post on Facebook that they would be closing the curve at that intersection and making it a T-intersection.

Montgomery County Director of Public Works Brandon Beurskens says this comes from a recent engineering safety study that was done in the county.  Some of the area residents say they have concerns about the curve being closed.

One of the residents and Beurskens had a conversation about the possibility of the intersection becoming a three-way stop.  In the original Facebook post, the County said there would be a full removal of the curve and an installation of the T-intersection, but during the meeting, Commissioner Mike Cordray said no official decision had been made.
