Chautauqua County and the City of Sedan are preparing for the upcoming Chautauqua County Fair.

 

The Fair takes place at the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds in Sedan. At the most recent meeting of the Sedan City Council, council members and city employees asked the Chautauqua County Fair Board for a meeting to ensure both groups are fully prepared for the event. The Fair Board has a meeting scheduled for July 14, but City Clerk Lana Robinson, asks the Board for an additional meeting just to ensure everyone is ready.

 

Robinson asked for the meeting on behalf of new city employees like herself and Public Works Director Caleb Ironside. An agreement was reached that the two groups would try to convene sometime this week.

 

The Chautauqua County Fair begins on July 19 and runs through the 26th.
