The Montgomery County Commission is set to meet today as they address a brief agenda.

 

Up for discussion for commissioners this morning will be a request to change the zoning for a property located just east of Independence. Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will also appear before the commission to obtain signatures for an engineering contract for work on Bridge #913A located on County Road 1800 east of Coffeyville. Also on today’s agenda are two executive sessions. The first is to discuss the acquisition of property and the second is related to non-elected personnel.

 

There will also be a monthly report from the County Register of Deeds.

 

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
