The former O'Sullivan building continues to smolder today as the investigation continues into what caused the fire at the 1.5 million square foot facility.

 The Lamar Fire Department responded Wednesday to a report of a structure fire near 1900 Gulf Properties. Officials say the fire is contained, but roughly one-third of the property has been destroyed.

 Authorities have detained two people for questioning, but no other information has been released.

 Lamar Fire, along with departments from Nevada, Jasper, Golden City, and Carthage responded to the fire.

 The fire was so massive that it was visible on radar. 

 The investigation is ongoing.
