The Midland Theater Foundation will host an outdoor movie night to kick off the Coffeyville Summer Celebration Weekend.
Next Friday, July 11th, the Midland and Solutions North Bank are partnering to present “National Treasure, Book of Secrets” on a screen in front of the Midland.
Before the movie, the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will hold a scavenger hunt for all children starting at 7:30. Organizer Darrel Harbaugh says it will be a great tie-in to the movie.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bill Davis and the Native American Fellowship will be serving free hot dogs and snow cones, and the Midland concession stand will be open selling $1 popcorn, pop, water and candy. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for an evening of fun for the entire family. The movie will start after sunset, which will be around 8:45.
