The 90th annual Elk County rodeo is heading to Moline this week, with festivities beginning tomorrow night.
Rodeo events during the two-day event include mutton bustin', bareback riding, bull riding, team roping, and tie-down roping. There will also be a performance from country singer Moe Bandy tomorrow night, with tickets available for both the concert and rodeo for $20.
Friday night brings the closing events of the rodeo, including a special Fourth of July fireworks show to cap off the night.
The festivities all take place at the Elk County Rodeo Grounds, which are located one mile Northeast of Moline, adjacent to the airport. For more information, visit the Elk County Rodeo Association Facebook page.
