Human remains have been discovered in a field near Jay, Oklahoma.

 The report came in to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office around 11:00 yesterday morning; they were discovered by someone brush-hogging the field.

 After the remains were confirmed as human, Delaware County says a grid search in conjunction with members of Grove Fire, the 13th District Task Force, OSBI, OSME, and Delaware County Deputies, leading to the recovery of most of the remains.

 The investigation is now under the direction of the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations and the Oklahoma Medical Examiners Forensics team.
