A Grove man and woman were killed yesterday in a three-car collision.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 70-year-old Randall Wagner crossed the center line of the eastbound lane of US-59, about three and a half miles east of Afton around 5:45 p.m., and struck a 2020 Kia Soul, driven by 69-year-old Debbie Lee. Both Wagner and Lee died at the scene.
The accident caused a vehicle driven 34-year-old Kayla Getz, of Seneca, to swerve to avoid Lee’s vehicle and struck a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Olivette Wagner.
Getz was not injured. Wagner was admitted in fair condition to Mercy Hospital with trunk and arm injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
