The City of Erie is preparing for a planned power outage.
According to Erie City Clerk Jessica Altman, there will be a planned power outage this Sunday, June 29th starting at midnight. Altman says this outage is necessary due to scheduled maintenance being performed by Evergy on their infrastructure outside of Chanute. The outage affecting is expected to last 1 to 2 hours.
