KGGF/KUSN/KQQF will provide the soundtrack for this year's summer celebration.
Starting on the morning of July 12th, Open Line will be broadcast live from the Coffeyville Fairgrounds from 9 to 11 a.m. on The Mighty 690, KGGF.
Then in the evening, KGGF staff will host another live remote on US 98 between 6 and 8 p.m.
This year, the soundtrack for the fireworks will be heard beyond the range of the speakers near the stage as the music will also be carried live on US 98, which will start shortly before the fireworks are set off. So don't forget to tune in to 98.1 FM in your car, or bring a radio with you to listen in the park while the fireworks light up the sky.
Summer Celebration is in its 9th year and will feature a full day of family fun at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville. So far, more than 110 vendors are now signed up to participate.
