A Baxter Springs man is arrested this week on child abuse and assault charges.

 24-year-old Jase Bush was arrested in Miami Tuesday on four charges of child abuse and a complaint of domestic assault and battery.

 The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says a third party made the allegations, and when following up on the call, they observed the mother of the children with bruises on her body. She claimed Bush had assaulted all four children, who were under 10 years old. Bush denies the allegations.

 Bush was arrested in 2015, but charges were dropped.

 He is free on $25,000 bail, and the Sheriff's Office says Bush is not charged at this time.
