A Bartlesville man with two pending felony cases this year has been arrested again.
19-year-old Markell Scott was arrested Friday afternoon on misdemeanor charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
BPD officials say Scott was involved in two accidents Friday; he fled the first accident and was apprehended after the second crash. Deputies allegedly detected an odor commonly associated with alcohol from Scott and observed red watery eyes. He admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day, and performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests.
According to the affidavit, deputies observed a lack of smooth pursuit in both eyes, observed poor balance and slow reaction time.
Scott will appear in court July 11th; he posted $25,000 bond.
