The 4th of July is just over a week away, and some people have already purchased fireworks.
For those living in Bartlesville, Fire Chief H.C. Call says fireworks can't be shot off within the city limits. Chief Call says if residents need to report illegal fireworks use, do not call 911, but instead call the non-emergency line at (918)338-4001.
There are three permitted public firework shows within the city. On July 3rd, Hillcrest Country Club will have fireworks, July 4th will be the Kiwanis Club of Bartlesville Freedom Fest at Sooner Park and July 5th there will be fireworks at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for the Glen Winget Memorial Baseball Tournament.
