The Osage County Sheriff's Office will be taking over dispatching services for the Pawhuska Police Department.

 The contract was signed during yesterday's Osage County Commissioners meeting. The contract calls for the absorption of Pawhuska dispatch into the county.

 Sheriff Bart Perrier says the topic had been discussed before, and he believes it can be beneficial for both the county and the City of Pawhuska.

 In other business, the commission renewed a contract to continue supplying dispatch services to the City of Hominy.
