The Montgomery County Commission votes to eliminate compensatory time for county employees.

County Administrator Jonathan Booe says the reason for this is that it will simplify things when it comes keeping track of comp time.  Booe says employees who currently have comp time built up they will be compensated.

Booe says the two departments that are affected by this the most are the sheriff's department and public works. He says both Sheriff Ron Wade and Public Works Director Brandon Beurskens are on board with this decision.
