A 12-year-old Erie boy, missing since late last week, has been found.

 Neosho County Sheriff Greg Taylor says he was notified by Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks just after 12:30 this afternoon of a possible child's body in the Neosho River, at the KGE dam, approximately two miles south of US-400 in Labette County. Upon arrival, several agencies were already on scene, including KDWP personnel, Labette County Sheriff's and EMS and multiple first responders from surrounding agencies. First responders were able to successfully retrieve the body of 12-year-old Kollin Showwalter.

 His body has been turned over to the office of the Neosho County Coroner.

 Sheriff Taylor thanks everyone who gave their time and effort to find Showwalter.
