Two are injured in a two vehicle crash in Montgomery County.
The crash happened at around 11:30am on Saturday along Highway 169, about a mile south of Cherryvale. A 2011 Ford Super Duty F250, driven by 33-year-old Joshua Caleb Allen of Coffeyville, was stopped on the northbound shoulder. Allen attempted a left turn onto County Road 4800 and entered the path of a northbound 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, resulting in a collision in the northbound lanes.
The driver of the Camaro, 21-year-old Brianna Elena Lopez-Hernandez of Pittsburg suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to Labette County Health. Two passengers in the vehicle, 21-year-old Jason Alexes Morales and a 1-year-old, were also taken to the hospital. Morales had suspected serious injuries, while the child was reportedly unharmed. Allen was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
