A Bartlesville man faces a felony conspiracy charge after allegedly orchestrating a check fraud scam.
Bartlesville Police say 22-year-old Dakota Cox allegedly orchestrated the check fraud plot with another suspect, identified as Isaiah Williams. December 5, 2024, Williams allegedly produced and processed a $5,000 fraudulent check, allegedly taken from an account owned by a business owner and into an account owned by a juvenile. The juvenile states that he was introduced to Williams by Dakota Cox.
Cox posted $5,000 bond. He will appear in court again on July 25th.
