Bartlesville Woman Charged With Assault

A Bartlesville woman is arrested after allegedly hitting someone's car with a shovel.

65-year-old Twila Cupp was charged yesterday with assault and battery on a police officer and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The Bartlesville Police Department says the incident took place Wednesday. Cupp allegedly struck the hood of the victim's car with a shovel. Officers on scene noticed dents on the hood of the vehicle and a shovel laying near the front door of the residence. BPD says Cupp seemed angry and was yelling at police, allegedly kicking dogs inside the residence when police or the victim would approach the front door.

Cupp's bond is set at $15,000. Her next court appearance is set for July 11th.
