Hours at City Hall in Cherryvale will soon be getting shorter.
City Administrator Michael Hall says that this change is coming in response to office staff reductions as they will be losing an employee in the city clerk's office, leaving only the city clerk and deputy clerk until a new employee can be hired.
The new hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays. City staff will work before and after public hours to allow them to catch up on work without distraction. The new hours go into effect on Monday, July 7th.
