The Dewey City Council adopts a new budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.
The total budget is approximately $4.7 million. Of that amount,
around $1.6 million was approved for the general fund, $958,000 was approved in special revenue funds, and $2.1 million was approved for the public works authority.
Also in the meeting, Dewey Fire Chief Terry Young discussed the possibility of re-inspection of multiple buildings in town.
The next scheduled meeting for the Dewey City Council is July 7th.
