An alleged law enforcement pursuit takes place near Fall River with a Galena man hospitalized.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, yesterday around 12:45 a.m., troopers were pursuing an allegedly stolen 2012 Honda Pilot driven by 32-year-old Joshua M Walker of Galena. The vehicle was traveling southbound on HH Road, about five miles east of Fall River in southern Greenwood County. At the end of HH at the intersection of 1600, The vehicle proceeded off the roadway southwest of the intersection where it became disabled after striking a tree and a metal rail.

Walker was taken to Fredonia Regional Hospital with suspected minor injuries, then jailed after his discharge. Formal charges are pending at this time.
