Coffeyville Regional Medical Center receives grant funding to purchase a new fetal monitor.
CRMC was one of only 13 Southeast Kansas organizations to receive a Women’s Giving Circle grant from the Rita J. Bincknell Women’s Health Fund. This helped fund the purchase of a new fetal monitor for CRMC Women’s Health Services. Additional funds were provided by the CRMC Foundation. This monitor will provide critical information to staff as they care for mothers and babies during labor and delivery. The new monitor recently arrived at CRMC and is now in use in Women’s Health Services.
CRMC director of Women’s Health Jennifer Winjten says healthcare equipment is very expensive, so grants like this one enable them to purchase what they need to ensure the very best care for their patients. The Rita J. Bicknell Women’s Health Fund supported women’s health initiatives in southeast Kansas by awarding a total of $59,205 in grants in 2024.
