The Grand River Dam Authority is continuing its efforts to find a man who fell into the waters of the Illinois River near Talequah on Tuesday.

The missing man has been identified as 32-year-old Jordan McConnell of Westville. Witnesses say he jumped into the water late Tuesday night and never resurfaced. Authorities say the incident happened near the Chewey Bridge in Adair County.

Authorities say the search for the missing man is ongoing.
