An Oklahoma teenager is sentenced to life in prison.

Heidi Dutton was sentenced for the killing of her grandparents near Dewey. After Dutton opted to enter a guilty plea, the two first-degree murder charges will sentence her to life in prison. Dutton was also convicted on two felony charges of desecration of a human corpse and a felony count of conspiracy. The other three counts will run concurrently with the life sentence.

Her boyfriend, Lucas Anthony Walker, was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for his role in the 2022 murder. Walker was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder in Indian Country.
