The City of Coffeyville announces plans to expand fiber internet access.
Executive Director of Electric Utilities Chris Weiner says fiber is already available in some parts of Coffeyville, and they hope to have most of the town by the end of the year. Weiner says they offer three packages for residential internet and four for businesses.
There is a $125 installation fee and customers can either buy a router or rent one from the City. The bill for internet is added to customers' utility bills. To check fiber availability in the area, call Utility Billing at (620)252-6100.
