The City of Altamont is marking a big celebration on Saturday.

 

Altamont Mayor Richard Hayward says it will be a big event.

 

Saturday's events include a parade at 9am in downtown Altamont, plus a Touch-a-Truck event at 9:30, and live music from Split Sanity and a free BBQ dinner at noon.

 

From 9 to 4, there will be food trucks and vendors, including games and inflatables for the kids.

 

It all happens Saturday in downtown Altamont.
