A Copan is charged with multiple crimes stemming from a domestic incident from November 2024.

47-year-old Steven Long faces charges of domestic assault and battery by strangulation, domestic abuse by assault and battery and malicious injury to property as a result of an incident that occurred at a residence on November 16. On that date Long is accused of being involved in a physical altercation in which he kicked and strangled the victim. An arrest warrant in the case was issued for Long in December.

Long posted bond and will appear in court again on June 13.
