The USD 447 Cherryvale-Thayer School board will meet tonight and continue its discussion of construction options for a new track at Logan Park.

 

Board members recently approved the construction of a new track for Cherryvale Jr/Sr High School and work on the project is expected to begin later this year. One decision the district has to make is the color of the track surface. Options include standard red, black, blue, or blue and gray. The last two options would be the school colors. However, those choices will be more expensive. A lengthy discussion is expected before a decision is made.

 

Also on tonight's agenda is the approval of the USD 447 Audit Contract for Fiscal year 2026.

 

Tonight's meeting begins at 7pm in the library at Cherryvale High School. The meeting is open to the public.
