Pioneer Day is coming up this afternoon in Nowata.

Organizers say the event is on Maple Street this year and starts with a bike parade at 3, Stage Art Dancers at 3:15, a foam party and inflatables at 3:30, live music from 4-6, and competitive games at 6 including a stick horse race, bubble contest and a pie eating contest.

The family fun will also include vendors, food trucks and face painting through 9 p.m.  It all happens today in Nowata.
