The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is sharing the results from its recent Click It or Ticket campaign.
During the past several weeks, the department conducted overtime saturation patrols focused on enforcing Kansas traffic laws, including occupant restraint, distracted driving, impaired driving and other violations.
Throughout the campaign, deputies made a total of 934 vehicle stops and issued 209 adult seatbelt citations and warnings, 66 child and youth restraint citations and warnings plus 135 speeding citations and warnings, 34 texting-while-driving citations and warnings, plus 469 other citations and warnings. In addition, there were 21 non-DUI or other arrests.
