***** Original Story *****

The four-state area will see a slight risk of severe weather this afternoon after a round of morning thunderstorms. The main severe weather threats will be hail up to the size of ping pong balls and damaging winds up to 70 mph. A limited threat for tornadoes will also exist, mainly late this afternoon and early evening to the west of Highway 75 in northeast Oklahoma and southeast Kansas.

Storms are most likely for the immediate KGGF listening area between 4 and 11 p.m. today. A flood watch is also in effect through tomorrow as an additional 1- 2 inches of rain is possible. KGGF will provide severe weather coverage this afternoon and evening storms develop.
