Independence Library to Kick Off Summer Reading Program

 

The Independence Public Library is set to kick off its summer reading program this weekend.

 

Join the Independence Public Library on Sunday for the Summer Reading Kick Off at the Park. The family event takes place at the Shelter House and will feature food along with free mini-golf, train rides, and carousel rides. Plus, everyone can sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. All who sign up will be eligible to win door prizes. The kick off runs from 4 to 7pm on Sunday.

 

In other library news, the Independence Public Library will be closed today in order to allow staff to attend a funeral.
