Repairs to the fountain in Pfister Park in Coffeyville are underway.

The fountain was originally built in 1937 and had fallen into disrepair in recent years. Construction is currently underway to repair the landmark. City crews have been busy sandblasting the fountain in preparation for new paint in epoxy . That part of the project will be completed later this year. The fountainhead is also scheduled for replacement.

Work on the project will continue throughout the summer months.
