The City of Chetopa is looking for civic-minded residents interested in running for election for the City Council.

There are currently three at-large Council positions that will be up for election on November 4^th. Interested candidates must reside in the city limits of Chetopa and be able to attend meetings on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of each month. Those interested in running will need to file paperwork at the County Clerk's Office in Oswego by noon next Monday, June 2. There is a $20 filing fee that must also be paid at the time of filing.

Candidates will appear on the November 4^th General election ballot.
