Brutus Fest is this weekend in West Mineral.

The day starts at 11:00am and will go until 5:00pm. Those who attend the event will find bounce houses, a carnival ride, a kiddie train and a petting zoo. There will also be food trucks setup at the event. Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $5.50 for children ages six to 12 and free for kids under six.

Brutus Fest highlights the region's mining history with a special Minute With The Miners segment, where attendees can meet former miners and hear firsthand stories about Big Brutus. The event also features face painting, local vendors, and plenty of opportunities to learn and play. The Big Brutus Museum welcomes everyone to come out and celebrate a day of community, history and fun.
