The City of Neodesha is set to appoint a new member of the City Commission.
A special Call Meeting will be held today just before the regularly scheduled Commission meeting to appoint a new city commissioner. That meeting will be held at City Hall.
Also today is the regular City Commission meeting. One of the items on today's agenda is the possible approval of paving and crack sealing for city streets. The measure was tabled at the May 14th meeting after intense discussion between Mayor Devin Johnson and Commissioner Duane Banzet. The issue was tabled in order to allow for the appointment of a new city commissioner.
Also on today's agenda is the purchase of a bucket truck and an appointment to the Planning and Zoning Board. Today's regular meeting begins at 2pm at City Hall and is also available for viewing via Zoom and the City's Facebook page.
