One man is dead and another injured following a head-on collision Friday afternoon in rural Sedgwick County.

The crash occurred on K-42 about 25 miles southwest of Wichita. A 2010 Buick Lacrosse driven by 44-year-old Eugene Stumblingbear of Attica, Kansas, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when it struck a semi head-on. Stumblingbear was killed in the crash while the driver of the semi – 54-year-old Donald Piotrowski of Valley Center, Kansas, sustained minor injuries.
