A Wisconsin man is dead following a two-vehicle accident on Saturday morning just south of Burlington.

The accident occurred around 10am on US-75 a 2009 Toyota Camry driven by 20-year-old Dallas Reeves of Janesville, Wisconsin, attempted to pass another vehicle. He was met with an oncoming Chevy Silverado in the oncoming lane driven by 46-year-old Charles Jarrell of Leroy, Kansas. Both drivers attempted to avoid a collision, but struck each other on the shoulder. Reeves was fatally injured while Jarrell received serious injuries and was taken to a Burlington hospital. A six-year-old boy in Jarrell’s truck also sustained minor injuries in the crash.
