Some electric customers in Coffeyville may experience a service outage today as crews work on a distribution issue.
According to Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power, customers in the 400 and 500 blocks of Maple and Walnut along with the 100 blocks of 4th and 5th Streets will experience a service outage as crews make critical underground repairs. As of 7 p.m., crews were still at work.
The electric department has identified at least two failed underground runs and must disconnect power to safely make repairs.
Crews continue to stay busy after repairing damage caused to lines from recent storms and a blown fuse that knocked out power to some downtown homes and businesses this morning.
