A Holyrood man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a highway.

The accident occurred just north of the City of Ellsworth in Central Kansas around 9:30 last night (Thursday night). 63-year-old Timothy Fosdick was crossing K-156 on foot when he was struck and killed by a westbound vehicle driven by 42-year-old Jose Manuel Quintanilla of Garden City. Neither Quintanilla nor any of the four other people in his vehicle were injured in the accident.
