Highway 169 will close next week for rail repairs.

The South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad plans to close and repair the south crossing on Hwy 169 at Cherryvale on Monday. The crossing is expected to remain closed through Friday. Traffic will follow a signed detour through the city of Cherryvale.

The detour has 12-foot lane and 14-foot height restrictions. For more information visit kandrive.gov.
