Parsons Death Investigation Leads to Fentanyl Arrest

An Oswego man wanted in connection to a 2024 overdose death in Parsons is now in custody.

The Parsons Police Department has announced the arrest of 41-year-old Benjamin Queen in St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana on a felony warrant for distribution of a controlled substance causing death. Queen is accused of supplying the fentanyl that caused the overdose death of 33-year-old Stormy Watson in November 2024.

Watson was found unresponsive in her Parsons home on November 6 and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later revealed her cause of death as acute drug intoxication caused by a combination of fentanyl and methamphetamine. An investigation later revealed evidence that caused investigators to believe that Queen was Watson's fentanyl supplier and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Queen will be returned to Labette County to face charges in the case. He may also face additional charges in Louisiana.
