An employee of the Barton County, Missouri, Sheriff's Office is killed in a motorcycle crash.

 

The accident happened last Wednesday in Golden City, Missouri, about 25 miles northeast of Webb City. 24-year-old Chloe Brower was a passenger on the motorcycle involved in the crash on US-160. Brower was unresponsive at the scene and was taken to a Springfield hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

 

The driver of the motorcycle was a 33-year-old male from Golden City. He received minor injuries and was taken to a Joplin hospital for treatment.

 

Brower had been employed at the Barton County Sheriff's Office since May of last year.
