A two-vehicle accident in Montgomery County leaves one person injured.

The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon around 1:15 at the intersection of County Road 5125 and US-169. A 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 72-year-old Bruce Main of Liberty failed to yield at a stop sign on the County Road and attempted to cross US-169 at the intersection. Main's vehicle was then struck by a 2020 Ford Escape driven by 60-year-old Jeanine Gray of Iola. Gray sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Labette Health for treatment. Main was uninjured.
