Police in Independence make an arrest following reports of a disturbance.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon just after 2pm. 9-1-1 dispatch in Independence received reports of an individual in the 800 block of Landon Drive running out of a residence. The female was heard to be yelling to others to call 9-1-1. I-P-D officers arrived on the scene and conducted an investigation into the occurrence. As a result of their investigation, a juvenile male suspect was taken into custody. The suspect faces charges of criminal damage to property, criminal battery, and interference with law enforcement.

The suspect's name is being withheld due to his age.
