A Kansas Department of Transportation resurfacing project in underway near Girard.

The project will consist of work on K-47 between the east city limits of Girard and US-69. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone during daylight hours. Drivers can expect delays of no longer than 15 minutes. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by the end of June.
