A slight chance of severe weather is possible tonight for the four-state area.
Eastern Labette and Cherokee County in Kansas and eastern Craig, Ottawa and northern Delaware County in Oklahoma plus southwest Missouri and extreme northern Arkansas are all in the slight risk category for severe weather tonight. Small hail and 60 mph winds are the main threat tonight. Storms are expected to be scattered. Coffeyville has about a 25% chance of a storm between 5 p.m. tonight and 5 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Looking ahead, a soggy Memorial Day Weekend could be in store, with several rounds of widespread rain across the four states. Stay tuned for additional forecasts as the holiday weekend approaches.
