The City of Cherryvale will see more traffic than usual starting just after Memorial Day.

Beginning on May 27th, crews will be working on US-169 to make repairs to the railroad tracks that cross the highway. The construction project will reroute traffic from the highway through the City of Cherryvale on Liberty Street. The detour will cause an increase in traffic during that time and residents are advised to proceed with extra caution while driving, walking or riding bikes.

The repairs are expected to be complete by May 31st.
